I wanna know what DSM's (only) you guys/girls have all had, and what you did to make them look/perform better.
1st- Green 96 GST, favorite DSM so far, bought it w/ busted trans and replaced. Had LSD, K&N, Voodoo2 MBC, Autometer guages, Datalogger, N/A exhaust cam, revised lifters, 14B, etc.
This was the car that turned me onto DSM's.
2nd- 93 TSi FWD Dk. Green, all stock w/ K&N and NGK 6's. All I've done is install a radio in it. its my daily, with 17" motegi knockoffs. One of the cleanest 1Gb's I've seen, minus a dent or 2
3rd- 90 TSi AWD, Primer Black. First awd car. A project soon to be completed. rebuilt the entire motor. New seals/gaskets everywhere. Polished Exhaust ports, polished 2G exhaust mani, blocked off EGR, no emissions. Brand new stock clutch. New tensioner, belts, etc.
ported 16G, Ported O2, 3" exhaust. No cat. Motor is in, have wiring to finish, fluids to fill, turbo to pick up, interior to match up, and then worry about painting it. Which is what the poll is for. I'm not a huge fan of the front ends on the 1Ga's. But it has a 1Gb rear conversion. so imagine that until I get some pictures up. Was thinking of what color I should paint it when its all put back together. Car was previously red, which still shows in the engine bay and just below the windshield. The rest is Primer Black. |

| Ahh man...I have a 94 Dl and a 91 tsi and I HATE the 1gb tailights...I love the 90-91 cuz they are more sleak. I think. stylish |

95 Talon ESI, B&M short shifter, AEM CAI, Brembo drilled and slotted rotors,power steering delete, UDP, fart can exhaust (yeah I know I was a ricer as a kid, went well with my Boeing wing on the back). As far as looks it was Dark green (looked almost bluish in a certain light at night which was cool) I accidently rear ended a guy (came around the curve, looked down for a second, looked up at a van at a dead stop) so I replaced the hood, front and rear bumpers (got a deal for both) with black pieces, The car actually looked awesome with that combo I thought (got compliments everywhere) a good amount of wax and constant washes, I miss that car... don't have any good pics of it though (I'm an idiot and deleted the best ones off my computer after I sold the car)
92 Eagle Talon TSI AWD, bought the car down in Miami and trailered it back to michigan, tore apart the block and found spun bearings, snapped timing belt, bent valves, ruined pistons, etc... Between parting out and selling the shell to a buddy I ended only losing about 200 bucks on the whole deal. my buddy got it back up and running with a new motor and such, he sold it for 2500, that guy then sold it for 3500 and the guy who ended up with it had a turbo take a dump and go through the motor, not sure where the car sits now. A pic of when I picked it up.
My current project Champagne 1990 Eagle Talon TSI AWD, visually, nothing yet, performance as listed
Ported 14b 7cm turbo, SBR Cast Ported exhaust mani, side exit exhaust (not finished yet), Buschur extrude honed intake mani, Nitto NT450's (some Hoosiers and rims soon hopefully), KYB AGX's and Ground control coilovers, Supra SMIC w/dejon piping, Honda sized radiator w/slimline fan, weight loss galore, dejon intake, dejon modifed 1g bov, etc...Pics aren't great and the poor thing needs some paint soon but bear with it haha

1st. 1992 eagle talon tsi fwd - it was my first car when i was 16, so i put ricer mods on it, and it was actually really slow
2nd, 1991 plymouth laser rs - non turbo, daily driven with exaust and intake
3rd, 1992 awd talon tsi - bought and sold right away... bad underbody rust
4th, 1993 awd talon tsi - bought and bell housing cracked...fixed it, then it cracked again...and sold
5th, 90 probe gt turbo, intake, exaust, mbc, act 2100, emissions removed
6th, cavi
7th 1993 awd auto, mbc, intake...stock exaust, just a driver basicly
now.... 1993 fwd 5 speed esi to tsi
non turbo body
all black
black laser honeycomb rims
tint windows
turboxs rfl bov
hard piping
front mount
14b for now
2g ported/polished exaust manifold
advanced tuning and timing
2 1/2 inch apexi in1 turbo back exaust
joe p mbc
walboro 255
safc

boost, a/f, water temp, oil temp, faze tach
about to be in is the centerforce 3000 pd pressure plate, and 6 puck clutch
removed balance shafts
rear interior gutted
front and rear strut bar

I'm leaning towards Red now. cause it was already red. Also red 1Ga fronts look good in red IMO, and so do the 1Gb rears in red. I think it'd look the best. Hopefully this car is done soon and I have no problems with it. Well no big problems like Garys been having hopefully
(throwing rods and blowing headgaskets) yikes.

| I have a 94 dl and its red....Love the color...And i have a 91 Tsi in Red...Love the color. lol I would say go with white b/c i like red. jk yea Reds pretty sharp...Do the 2 tone thing too...Where the tops black that will keep it gangster. jk (im white)lol |

You might be white but your correct. Keep the roof black!!! Must be two tone on a talon, just doesn't look right otherwise (except black obviously). Red is one of my favorite colors on dsms now, since I saw this one at least.

Makes me want to run out and buy a nice red one. Got to love the Hoosiers too. That car just looks awesome. Anyways its almost always easier to stick with the original color anyways. |

| no way i got u all beat i should take hte champagne something or anothers off my new car and put it on my black cherry, red, black, maroon, silver, primer grey, rust and make it one ugly ass car again. oh and dont forget the old evo3 with new hardware to throw on it too. |
