Uh, some half-dead middle-aged guy tried to race me in his Saab 9-5 aero... I tore him apart from a 5 mph roll, three times. It was really a sad affair. If you can't beat a 3000 plus pound AWD car from a roll, you really should not be trying to start a fight.
On the more intelligent side, I did turn down highway races with a mildly modified old school S4 - on a road that drops down to one lane, and a busted up, fag-mobile DelSlow... geez, you'd think after JUST leaving the track you'd have that shit worked out of your system.
Maybe I'm just getting old, but what's the point of running on a public highway, with no chance of getting a time slip? Seems like a competition to find out who is willing to be the bigger retard... I think I'll keep my racing to short bursts from a redlight, and sanctioned events. |
